Lifeform Chi Kung
Chi Kung (literally energy cultivation) is an art of living with its roots in China. It is based on the classic division between yin and yang and the five elements from Chinese philosophy and medicine (wood, fire, earth, metal, water). In chi kung you gradually learn to guard and steer your energy, so that it arrives in the place where it is most needed. The goal of chi kung is creating harmony, both inside the body and between you and others.

With chi kung you learn to stand within yourself and to apply this force in your life. It is a very practical technique that simultaneously has a very broad range of applications. Controlling your energy will prevent it from leaking away so that you can use it to sustain yourself both physically and mentally. After taking care for yourself, the excess energy can be used to help others, so you will experience more fulfilment in life and work.

The school is called Lifeform Chi Kung, because I am convinced that chi kung can help you to shape your own life. It helps you to gain control over yourself and simultaneously to use your energy in a creative way, so that you will be able to reach the goals that you have set for yourself.

Pieter Stokkink has been involved with chi kung since 2006. He also studied philosophy at the Universities of Amsterdam and Toronto. Hij combines the practical with the theoretical in his lessons and clearly shows how sharp insight supports effective actions.
